AGE LIMIT & RELAXATIONS:

General conditions for Deputation (Only for the post of Director)
Eligibility Condition :
Officers working in the Central or State Governments or Government Universities or Recognized Research Institutions under Government or Semi-Government, Statutory or Autonomous Organisations of Government in India possessing the eligibility conditions as prescribed below are eligible for consideration on deputation basis:-

possessing essential qualification and experience prescribed for the post;

holding a post analogous to the post applied for; or with five years’ regular service in the post in Level-12 (Rs.0) of the Pay Matrix (Pre-revised Pay Band PB-3 Rs. + Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/-) or equivalent;

the period of deputation, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other
Organisation / Department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed three years;

the maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) shall not be exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Terms and conditions of deputation shall be governed / regulated according to the applicable normal terms and conditions for Deputation issued by the Government of India
